I think stacking and unstacking them takes longer than actually standing at the sink washing dishes by hand - and from what I've seen, they don't do a very good job - not to mention the water and... If you had to make a choice of one household appliance that you had to go without which one would you choose?I would choose my dishwasher because I usually wash my dishes by hand anyway so it wouldnt be much different for me.
