| | New Celtic Women special on PBS | | I loved the new special that aired over the weekend on public television. The castle background was breathtaking.
Their violinist is so much fun to watch. How she can play the fiddle and dance around leaping and running at the same time is amazing.
As usual, the singing was exquisite. I thought their new singer was a great addition to the group.

| | | | Should I tell Mom? | | I was talking to an old friend the other day whom I hadn't talk to in many years. She was telling me about her kids, aged 22 and 20. I wanted to see a pic so she said "go to my daughter's MySpace". Well, when I went to her daughter's MySpace site, I found out she is a "Stoner" and proud of it. I was quite surprised to see her site glorifying pot and I don't think her mother would be very happy to see it. Should I tell her mom? Or do I assume her mom knows and has just accepted this fact about her daughter? Maybe it is more acceptable in some families whereas it would never be tolerated in my family. Tell me what you think. | |
| | cartoon devils....fiddle...huh? | | I have now seen two different Cartoons that states to beat the devil you need to beat him at a fiddle contest, and of course the Devil can't be touch on a fiddle for some reason. what gives? does it speak of the Devil playing the fiddle some where in the bible?please let me know lol | |
| | | Where do you go when you want to take a break from your kids or spouse? | | When my spouse wants to take a break from hectic home life, he goes outside and works in the yard. Sometimes he just sits in our truck and looks at the sky. But, he's a really great guy otherwise, so I can't complain. And, he gives me time to post on My Lot while he's watching our little kid. Posting on My Lot is my small bit of time off from my full time Mommy job. Being a mom is lots of fun, but plenty of work too. Most times I don't really need a break from either spouse or child, but it's nice to get a second to sit down. So, what do you do or where do you go when you want to take a break from your kids or spouse? Do you go outside and do yard work? Do you go to work? Do you watch TV or sports shows? How do you give yourself a break when you really need one. | |
